The weather forecast is indicating that we are entering a period of colder weather and with this comes the possibility of snow at some point. Angram Bank Primary School will always do its utmost to stay open, however, closures and changes to opening times may occur due to reasons such as bad weather. Listed below is a reminder to parents/carers of the procedures we would operate to inform you of any changes to the school opening times. Text Message The designated contact for each student will receive a text message if there are any changes to the school opening times. Please check with the office that your contact details are up to date and correct. We will not send out messages to parents/carers if we are open. School Website Information about a school closure will always be posted on our website and updated regularly so please check for the latest information. Sheffield City Council Website The school will also notify the Sheffield City Council of any closure. You can register to receive email updates about changes to the school opening times www.sheffield.gov.uk/schoolclosures If heavy snow falls during the school day, the school will remain open until 3.30pm. Parents concerned about collecting their children at 3.30pm are advised to come to school earlier to collect them if this is deemed to be a safer option.
